Everyone knows that after going to the toilet/using the bidet (don't really like them myself) you have to completely dry your bum, to avoid a 'wet surprise' and basically looking like you've pooed your pants.
However, recently I suddenly realised that I've never bothered to dry the crack of my bum after swimming or showering - is this a problem? I've never done it because the idea of drying my bum with my towel seemed gross, but now I'm paranoid that 'dirty' water droplets from either a shower or pool have soaked through my underwear and got onto my trousers.
So, basically I'm looking for reassurance - is it a given that you completely dry the 'crack' of your bum every time after swimming or showering? Or is it perfectly standard not to?
Thanks a lot
Edit: Ok, please don't joke here - I'm deadly serious. I've been worrying about this particular hygiene matter for a while
