Gun Appreciation Thread - Page 201

I'm in the market for a revolver, and have been looking at the S&W M60 pro in .357mag. Found one in Utah that's selling for the same price as a stock Model 60 at my LGS, so I might have that on the way to me some time early this week. I never really thought about wheel guns in the general scheme of things, but I really like the look of this one and liked the feel of the stock model 60 I shot at the range.

I think after this, I'm going to get serious about building my 300 BLK sbr.

I'm selling 4 firearms if anyone's interested. A couple are slightly rare (I think). There were only ~240 of the S+W made and the AR-15 has a very low serial number and was made (or at least most of it was made) in Canada.

1 Colt AR 15 6921 M4
1 S+W Model 6592
1 Beretta Model 21A-22LR
1 H+R Sportsman Handgun

The SW should fetch a good turnover. Everbody's selling ARs now.

I have a hard time believing it but that S+W went for over $2000 on the gunbroker? That seems outrageous. The AR I'm not sure about. I've seen them go for anywhere between $1k and $2k.

I've never seen a S&W 6592 in person. That is a sharp looking gun. Do you have any pics of yours?

It is a nice gun. This is one I'd keep for myself but it's not really something I feel like I could conceal and carry.

Got my Model 60 pro in yesterday. Had a midterm today so I'm going to clean this guy out today and then maybe take her out to the range today or early next week

Does anyone think I should keep the AR-15 or the S+W? Just wondering if this is a good time to sell them?

AR-15s are going at a premium, but won't last much longer once Hilary loses the election in 2016. Get a ranch rifle if you need something in 5.56.

ARs are going for cheap around here. That market collapsed months ago in MO at least.

I don't know about that I think there is still a range of prices depending on what you want. I have seen prices from $600.00 to $3200.00 .

Sig Sauer has a MIR for two free mags and a bag for any centerfire gun right now. In the exclusions, it lists "rimfire pistols, mosquito, and 1911-22"

I bought a Sig 1911 TacOps - should have it in a week. Brand new with 6 mags for $730. smile.gif

I think I need to get my AR15 this fall. Think I can get a decent one for 1.2k or so?
