Gun Appreciation Thread - Page 8

Getting back on topic, what model did you buy tiecollector? I hope you are enjoying it, whatever it is.

Btw, this is one of the reasons I favor an external safely. This vid is great, this DEA agent shoots himself in the foot, in a classroom full of kids, right after he says he is the only one professional enough to carry a Glock.

I have a couple of glocks and the Ford Taurus of shotguns - the Remington 870. I really like the Glock 21, even though it is almost too big for even my hands. I've found the Glock safety to be pretty ideal. The cop in the video must have really not been paying attention. Unless you actually use the trigger to pull the gun from your holster or something similiarly stupid, it would be awfully hard to shoot yourself. I love the way he tried to play it off afterwards. Hysterical.

And to pre-empt Arethusa's overly race-concious question - yes, my weapons are quite handy in fending off hordes of brown-skinned people who do not wear suits and therefore do not have the same rights as me.

Modern guns look like plumber's tools.

they could also be good for fending off the Cocoon set when they are on a rampage in search of vitamins or hunting manatees.

Some very impressive and beautiful pieces from Wayne Novak

And some of the finest looking (and performing) converted guns ever made IMO.

Plumbing tools INDEED!

You're just saying that because you're not allowed to buy them.

Very nice, I am a 1911 fan. Here are a few pics of my custom Colt, notice the blurry light reflecting off the 14k gold fron bead in the second pic.

Haven't bought anything yet. I will most likely get a .22 though. I'll see what the shop has.
