The shipping is steep, but it could still be a good deal depending on how low the auctions stay. There are no larger sizes yet though

To be fair to them, if the total weight of the package is over 1.6kg, they'd have to use a much more expensive service than Royal Mail airmail anyway.

A regular pair of shoes, in a box, with bags, and some protective bubblewrap is quite close to that. Trickers make some pretty hefty shoes so it's possible they don't really have a choice. To blame it on the distance to the Post Office is ridiculous though (I used to live in Northampton so raised an eyebrow when I saw that line in their ebay ad).

I am sure there they have a perfectly logical explanation but the shoes are listed as Â£40 shipping to the US while the heavy country boots with commando soles are just Â£30. I should buy more boots I guess.

I would say probably yes - they're not normally available at a discount, and when they are sold in the US, they're typically around $400.

Just one shoe in two different color - not very good selection, which is typical of Tricker's in the USA.

Price is $320, plus I think you can get another 20% or $50 off.

It's probably a good way to figure out your size, though.
