If you're looking for gift ideas this year, then here's a fun one: cashmere socks. These are from Marcoliani and are a 2-ply 80-20 cashmere-poly blend:

Cashmere socks are the kind of indulgence that someone might not buy for himself, but feel great to receive.

If you're looking for a gift idea, try these: a cashmere blanket and pillow.

We can also make cashmere blankets to order in more than 40 colors through our custom cashmere program -- entirely made in Italy in 6-ply. Contrasting border trim is available, too, at no extra charge. Blanket widths must be 72", but can be as long as you'd like.

A big thank you to Jim, Yoshi and the Khaki's team for my prize (which just arrived) - I can't wait to wear this tie once I get back to work!

The handwritten letter is a very nice touch and the card with the push-out collar stiffeners is very cool!

Rise: 10.5" vs. 10.25"
Thigh (at crotch seam): 12.75" vs. 12.5"
Knee (16" down the inseam): 9.5" vs. 8.25"
Leg opening: 8" vs. 7.75"

It's not so much the leg opening as it is the leg itself, from my experience. It just starts slimmer in the top area and continues through.

Maybe I'm being dense, but what is the correct name (slim fit or contemporary fit) for the slimmer of the two pants? I assume slim fit is the slimmer?

Note to self, button cuffs. Sleeves are a hair shorter than I am used to.
