Some last minute info!

We're in room 3016 at Parc 55. Feel free to call us at 831-277-4975 when you arrive or go to the elevator bays and up to level 30.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and show off not just Ring Jacket, but also our khakis, trousers, and selection of English footwear and neckties.

ALSO! If anyone wants to stop by and walk-in at any time, feel free! We really encourage you to check us out -- even if you're not necessarily looking to order. We want to use this opportunity to meet as many of up you as possible and let you get to know what we do firsthand.

Consider this an open invitation to come by and have some fun!

Had a great time working with Jim and Mr Sasamoto of Ring Jacket yesterday selecting a suit. They also have lots of shirts and pants by Ring at the trunk show. The pants are very nice and an excellent value. Be sure and stop in if you have a chance. The trunk show continues today. There are lots of jackets and suits to try on in very small to large sizes. US 34 and up.

Just took delivery of these and 2 special order pants from khakis. Contemporary fit is awesome. Excuse all the crap behind.

Also tie was a wonderful gift from the khakis crew after the Ring trunk show

Spent a week vacationing in Carmel, and stopped in to pick up some house brand pents and try on some Ring Jackets. Ended up falling in love with and bringing home, a creamy waffle beauty. Great store, with a fantastic variety of clothes.

Just wanted to post some of our favorite fall sweaters.

The first is a cashmere polo sweater from Italy by Doriani in a soft pearl grey. The placket and under the collar feature chocolate brown suede accents and the buttons are mother of pearl. The cuffs and hem are ribbed.

The second is a new favorite here from Brioni. It's black merino wool full-zip sweater with zipper pockets and a stand-up banded collar. What really makes it stand out are the black suede accent details along the front zipper, pocket zippers and across the shoulders on the back. A nice light layering piece for fall that can work well into spring and cool summer nights, too. The hardware zips easily and the front zipper is a two-way zip. Only sizes small, large and extra large are left.

Just wanted to feature some of our more unique sport coats from L.B.M. 1911. The first is a deep washed purple crosshatch wool-blend jacket. Both a different type of pattern and color than you might typically see. (Sizes EU 52, 54 and 52L available, $1095)

The second is 100% cashmere and the washing on the jacket gives the coat a varried burgundy color that looks excellent against dark denim. (Sizes EU 50, 52, 54, 56 available, $1595)

Both jackets are unlined with finished interiors, dual vented, notch lapels, patch pockets and have two interior pockets and surgeon cuffs. If you're curious about fit, we recommend going true to size while noting that the jackets are designed to be slimmer and with shorter hems. One thing I will note is that there's not much room to let out on the seams through the torso and that the washing on the fabrics can show when you let out a seam (speaking from experience). If you want to know more measurements or have questions just email or call us!

Here are just a few of the numerous books Khaki's had at their Ring Jacket trunk show that are also available for in-store MTM ordering from various makers. Jim likes interesting fabrics for his own use and offers personal experience in helping you select fabrics for your own custom orders.

Khaki's has a remarkable selection of beautiful neckwear with an extensive variety of brands and looks from such forum favorites as Drakes and Bigi as well as one of my favorite brands Seaward & Stearn. They brought an assortment to the SF trunk show but if you really want to be impressed, head to their Carmel store where they have around 2,000 ties.

CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT: Show us your patterns & win a Drake's necktie!

Our owner, Jim Ockert, loves mixing patterns together (as some of you might've seen on our blog) and we wanted to do something fun for StyleForum and those of you who enjoy getting away from solids.

So, we're having a contest and two winners: one selected by Jim and one selected by the StyleForum community. Here's how to enter:

  • Take a selfie: Show us your creative use of patterns! Ideally, we'd like to see the detail of a tie-shirt-jacket-square combo.
  • Post the photo here in this thread from now until November 15th. (Only one entry each, please.)
  • Starting on November 16th we'll begin voting and on Black Friday we'll announce the winners!

We look forward to seeing your creativity!

Currently, we're only offering MTO and prefer to go through the process in-store. CMT is not available.

Of course, we'll be having MTO and MTM at our Ring Jacket trunk shows in the future, too. Once we have dates set, we'll be letting everyone know!
