I've just been working on improving myself. I sew more and have taken up dancing, I think I'm going to take up MMA too. Could try the whole getting under a chick thing. No luck so far with me. Maybe I need to AmJack it up this weekend.

The first month is the hardest. It has been about a month for me. I'd recommend getting out and not drinking. Sitting around and drinking will only make you more depressed. I'm actually happy now that I'm single. I abhored her family.

nice. glad you are positively moving on.
i remember how it feels breaking up with a long term girlfriend, man, it kills.

i cannot ever imagine breaking up with my wife, dang, i think i would literally kill myself if we did

i'm on a different side of a similar situation right now.
my friend who lives far away broke up with his gf of a year or 2 and she's in the process of moving out and it seems like it's been kind of messy. i'm in charge of doing the cheering up, but it's been nice catching up on each other's lives.

call all the people you've been neglecting lately. feel better soon.

Pretty well, thanks. I realized there are a million things I want to be doing but wasn't. I also realized how many girls already have boyfriends.

Since you miss her so much, instead of drinking, you can:

1. Grovel and whine so she would take you back.
2. Stalk her.
3. Die together in a murder-suicide pact.

I posted a depressing thread about a girl over a year ago and your reply was the one that sticks in my head still.

The right thing to do is get in the gym more, don't rush things to try and make yourself feel better and don't continue to feel attached when it's over. Contrary to other advice I've found that if it's someone you really like, going out and getting laid by a bunch of random sluts (or ex girlfriends who want to get together for a drink) is likely to make things worse, not better.

Forget that bitch man I never liked her anyways.

And to think I was going to congratulate you.

I've been laying the groundwork for breaking up with my girlfriend for a while now and one of my good friends is in the same boat.

best option: stalk her until she gets a restraining order... then you can justify anything else you do
