I would love to see them in person. I live down on the peninsula and am in the city all teh time. :-)

I'm with @rach2jlc in preferring zip bags. Buckles always strike me as a bit of a hassle when you want quick access. You really shouldn't have problems with a quality zipper breaking either. Snags can be a worry, but I've never had it be an issue.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts who does the meet up! SF is a bit too far for me.

@MetManChris Awesome +5 already. Let's push and get to 10! Great excuse to meet other SF people.

@indesertum awesome we are at +6

@Mr. Moo @fazalmajid @LeBeef @brillopad @MetManChris Any suggestions of what a good venue would be?

We're running on fumes right now, so need to be on a humble budget. I estimate around 20 people will show (you guys + another 15 friends or so).

Want enough space to hang up some of our hides in all colors, display our products and a small table for a wine and snacks.

Unfortunately I will only be able to bring along the black assortment, and the navy soft briefcase. All the cognac stuff is sent out for R&D (we are developing a custom leather care product with x Collonil), hope I can get it back before the event, but chances are super slim.

Any suggestions are more than welcome, if you are not a SF member, just email us at roman@linjer.co

Thanks!

@HRoi :) As I said we are running on fumes. Buying luxury quality leather is not cheap:) Hope to get you as backer? Can you make it out to SF for the event?

I'm on the other side of the country, unfortunately. From the pics I think I'd be absolutely in for the navy, and maybe a cognac. Leather is one of those things that needs to be touched/felt/smelled, though, so in the absence of doing that myself, I hope your meet up pushes through so we can get some comments from those who attended smile.gif

Inside of the bags look great. I take it there are no pockets on the otherside of the interior that isn't shown?

There is a laptop sleeve on the other side (source: I'm giving the navy one a test drive right now).

How about a video, showcasing the bag + inside? I'd like to see how the leather moves to the touch? Tough to explain..

I get what you mean, but IMHO a vegetable-tanned or bridle style leather doesn't really "move" in the way that a soft grained hide does. I agree with something like an Hermes Clemence you'd want to see how supple it is... but with Box calf or a thicker vege-tanned it may not give you much info even in video form.
