Really good questions.

We've talked about raising our prices for some time now. $489 is not sustainable in the long-run.
Most likely prices will increase to $549 for the soft briefcase this summer. Perhaps more. We'll make the final call in a few weeks.

We'll also increase the price of all women's products. They're dirt cheap right now for what they are.

There will be no changes in construction. Leather quality will be the same - full grain vegetable tanned leather. Just different hands making them.

PS: We're running low on the mocha briefcase and we won't re-stock until the fall. Just in case you were thinking of pulling the trigger.

Cheers,

That was very informative. Just want to double check that since the mocha briefcase is running low on stocks, does it mean it refers to old stocks produced in China and not Italy?

Correct. It's the current stock from our old factory, which is in China.

Thank you for the clarification. I will be placing my order in a min. I am stationed in Singapore and I have read on your website that duty will be cover by Linjer. Does it mean I wont be suffering any import taxes (e.g. GST or VAT) as my country charges 7% GST/VAT on imported goods > S$400?

All duties, import taxes, GST/VAT is included for Singapore shipments. You will pay $489 on checkout and there will be no nasty surprises when the parcel is delivered:)

Okays, thank you for the reassurance. Will proceed on the order. Normally how long is the delivery time?

Order processing takes 24-36 hours depending on when you place your order.

Shipping to Singapore is done with DPEX and delivery takes around 3-5 business days.

Re-post from @linjerco

We’ve hinted at the big projects that we’ve been working on for the past six months, and it’s almost time for us to start sharing them with you.

First up, we’ll be revealing our new logo and launching our new website in the coming weeks. It’s been a huge endeavour, and you might be wondering why we’re spending so much time and energy on this--our closest friends and customers have told us that they love our current branding.

Since our launch 18 months ago, Linjer has grown and matured as a brand. We’ve solidified what Linjer stands for and what we represent. We felt that we outgrew our original branding, so we’ve spent the last six months reflecting on and redesigning the entire Linjer aesthetic.

Throughout this process, we’ve seen what Linjer can become: much more than just a leather goods shop in a hidden corner of the Internet.

We promise that the Linjer values will stay the same. We’re just starting another chapter of our story and we’re looking forward to adding even more.

We’re counting down the days to our re-launch in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we wanted to share this preview of what’s to come.

I would suggest adding a snap to the inside pocket on the briefcase. It has a tendency to yawn open and catch when you are trying to insert a laptop or papers in the main compartment.

I agree 100% and I think I've made that recommendation in this thread before.

Something to hold the pocket divider to the outer wall would be very useful for me. My keys always go in that little shallow pocket, and when combined with top-heavy weight in the pen and card/phone slots, that shallow pocket really does take over access to the main slot.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Might be something we'll add for our next production run:)
