Walked in last Friday again, no sales, but now they had my size. Bought a pair of Sabelt sneakers, black, great fit. I have used them all throughout the week-end, and I am impressed. Best sneakers I bought so far, I prefer them even over my Santoni ones.

Good to hear! I have a pair of yellow suede driving-shoe tassel-loafers (sounds cool?) myself, and they fit so unbelievably nice. Very comfortable and cool looking, many people have commented on them. You can see them on the right on this photo: http://www.styleforum.net/attachment...4&d=1257710121

Are they by Sabelt? They look quite different from the more conservative (?) black suede sneakers that I acquired. Actually, they look quite different from any Sabelt item that I have ever seen. To me they look like some kind of unusual mix between tassel-loafers and deck shoes. On what kind of occasions do you wear them? Were the comments favourable?

They sure are Sabelt, I took some extra photos to show off.

Yes they are an unusual mix, but for me, extremely usable: As they are casual I wear them any time I wish to be casual - which I am about 350 days out of 365 (I work at a research center where no one really cares how I dress). Looks great with narrow opening jeans and pants/chinos.

The end of the season sales at YOOX is a good source for low priced Sabelt shoes. I have several pairs and none were more than $80 (some at less than $50).

Hi guys.  Any news of where to purchase, or even view Sabelt street shoes online?  Seems only the racing shoes have a website.  Do they still make them?
