In one of my trips to Italy I bought a pair of loafers....UNBELIEVABLE shoes!!
I thought they made only racing shoes but they now have (I've been told they started 2-3 years ago actually) very trendy shoes derivated from racing shoes....very cool and comfortable.

Pirelli also makes shoes.

yes, they are now very trendy in italy, especially all of gentleman drivers used them, like porsche cup, and ferrari challenge people..it's actually very cool at the moment.
They fit like gloves .....you should try them once.
I have never seen them here in sweden, can you buy them in the USA???

They're not bad. I got a pair for $30 off Yoox last year... they do look nice, but because they're "driving/racing shoes," if you wear them regularly, the thin soles wear quickly and there's not much support for arches, but for $30, I can deal with that. They seem to be made for people who want to wear Puma Speedcats, but think Speedcats are too ubiquitous. They do fit nicely -- they're like really nice "street" versions of my AlpineStars driving boots, minus the nomex.

I like these, particularly the lack of visible branding: Here's an "Aston Martin" model:

Sablet makes a decent drving-racing shoe, Sparco does as well. I have tried them all on, but Puma is the better of the two, IMO. Puma is a bit lower to the ground and a bit flatter, thus you can really mash the pedals quicker.

Heh, only go-karts. I have lots of friends that do race though. Myself, I'm just a professional high-performance driving event type of guy with aspirations of gutting my car and turning it into something I can club race on weekends.

Dear God...when I first glanced at the title, I honestly thought it read "sansabelt shoes," and all I could think of was these:

Massimo,

No, and if I did, I wouldn't have the time to be posting here.... I would be too busy talking to Jean Todt, and Massa and Kimi of the Scuderia Ferrari racing team...

It's my life-long dream to work for Scuderia.

If you're good at keeping control of top secret documents, I hear they might have a job for you.

Tried on some sabelt sneakers at Yusty (on Serrano, Madrid; the only shop that carries Sabelt here in town, as far as I know) during the summer sales. They didn't have my size, but I liked the way they felt.
Walked in last Friday again, no sales, but now they had my size. Bought a pair of Sabelt sneakers, black, great fit. I have used them all throughout the week-end, and I am impressed. Best sneakers I bought so far, I prefer them even over my Santoni ones.
