It's been eBay'ed in brown, though, so C&J must produce the occasional pair in that color. Can't hurt to e-mail and ask. See? I knew I wasn't imagining things...
The seymours in dark brown antique are... breath-taking. I must have these shoes. They have replaced the Saviles in dark brown as second on my list of C&J Handgrades to aquire.

I'd spring for them, but I hate credit card debt, so I'm passing.

I hate to disrupt things, but the Barney's warehouse sale has some of the Seymours in antique calf for $249 right now. dan

Everyone who is interested.  They do have the Seymour's but in size of 7D.  I believe that is the UK size so it is a 7.5 American in antique calf.  I searched high and low but they only seem to have it in that size.  By the way, it's a mad house there and the women shoppers are crazy.   (I left work for an hour just to inquire, thanks dah328)  When I looked at the shoe, it's looks very small, probably why I had a hard time finding it.  They also had a lot of Lifort monkstrap that resembles the Jobb Lobb posted here a while back.  Does anyone know the quality of Lidfort or Pelosi?  These were quite common there in all sizes.  The Pelosi ankle boot seems rather nice but the leather, it was shiny to the point I thought it was bookbinder.

Sorry about the poor size selection.  I just happened to see the Seymour in 7.5 and 7 and assumed they'd have more.  The size 7.5 are now in my grubby little mitts.  After missing out on good deals for a while now, I guess it was finally my turn. dan

Dan, Any way to get your "grubby little mitts" on the size 7's (are they a 7 "D" or "E"?)?  I tried calling, but there's only a recorded message. Please PM me if you are able/willing to do this. Naturally I will pay the cost of shipping and compensate you for your time & effort as well. Regards, Andrew L PS: do your 7.5's fit as you expected, i.e., UK sizing?

If anyone sees 11.5 OR 12, please pm me. I would very much appreciate it.

Let me add that if anyone is planning to head to the Barney's sale and finds the size 7 antique brown Seymours still available, I would be happy to compensate you for picking them up & shipping them to me (in Boston). Paypal works for me if it works for you. Thanks in advance, AJL

A swing and a miss. If only they were 6.5E, UK.

Actually Alias, they may be the equivalent of 6.5E, UK, as they are in fact 7D U.S. Matt (norcaltransplant) is picking them up for me at this very moment, and there exists the very real possibility that they may end up a wee bit small for me (I have the Savile in a 7E, UK, which I find a little bit loose in the heel, so I'm going to find out if going down a half size helps). If they turn out to be too small, would you be interested? regards, Andrew

You bet I am. 7D US is a perfect match for my feet.
