Attractive women - Page 3

I'm surprised no one has added Helen Hunt. How about Nicole Kidman, and Katoh Koyuki (from "The last Samurai").

have seen "Summer Catch" a few times...
I'm sorry Is it worth watching just for Ms. Biel? Anyone seen Garden State? If so, what did you think of Natalie Portman in the film?

Well, the movie is typical teen comedy stuff mixed with a baseball movie- Freddie Prinze Jr. (don't confuse him with his highly talented, extremely hilarious father) is the son of a lawn care technition (P.C for a guy who cuts grass for a living. )   who is one of the best summer league baseball players.  Jessica Biel is the daughter of a rich guy whose lawn is cut by Freddie Prinze's dad and who loathes the "poor." Of course, in true Romeo and Julet fashion, these two star crossed lovers fall for each other.  Since it is aimed at a teen audience and has a PG-13 rating, Jessica Biel wears some skimpy outfits and goes skinny dipping, or at least swims in here underwear, but there is no real nudity.  Still, she's always hot, and it makes the movie at least slightly more watchable.  Its not a bad movie, but it isn't Bull Durham or Field of Dreams either.

Maybe its me, but I rather not dream of which "˜famous' women I would sleep with, but rather live in the reality of being able to sleep (and have a real relationship, if possible) with women that I know / will meet. Do I know who most (or possibly all) the women mentioned are? Yes, but that does not mean I delve into the possibility of who I would do it with if I could; It is not my cup of tea. Guess it's the same reason I don't stare at the private planes that take off from the Boca Raton Airport (a private airport, many a Gulfstream can be seen landing and taking off everyday), I can't currently get it, thus no reason to dream futilely. At the moment the closest thing to a "˜famous' person I have a chance with is one of my sisters friends, who is an unknown model (by unknown, I mean up and coming but no one knows who she is, at the moment anyhow). She is smart and beautiful, what else could a guy ask for? Jon.

I like hearing that point of view, because a friend of mine feels similarly, but when asked why he doesn't like to like famous women, he just responds "because its retarded."

That would have been my other response . Jon.

I really don't "like to like" famous women, but it's really the only way we can compare our tastes here on SF.  We can't all say, "Jane Doe next door is incredibly attractive" and expect everyone to have a clue as to whom we're talking about. I find most famous babes too "fake" for my taste.

C'mon guys...There is only one truly beautiful woman out there... Mrs. FIHTies. Hey, cut me some slack here... She reads these boards sometimes But on a serious note I think that Jon has a valid point, and it was touched on on a different thread regarding a topic that I would rather stay out of. You have to ask yourselves if the majority of these celebrities would notice you if you were dying on the street somewhere. Sadly, I think not. JJF

I understand your point, but for those of us who are married it's much safer to dream about women that we have no chance of ever meeting. A little celebrity fantasizing is harmless and my wife doesn't mind, on the other hand if I started thinking about women I actually know, she might be a bit perturbed Bradford

Good point, Bradford. My cousin's wife actually gives him tips on how to check out other women discreetly - she really is a good sport about it because she knows he's never going to do anything more than look. What do y'all think about the idea from When Harry Met Sally that "men and women can never be friends?" I think that it's largely true, with exceptions of course. I also think that it's especially hard to have friends of the opposite sex, after marriage.

sadly i have to agree. unless you're in an 'open' or polyamorous relationship. which i don't know anyone who is.

I'm not even married yet, and I can already feel my balls in a vice if I ever, ever, even suggested that I found someone I actually knew to be... attractive.

Obviously the people (men or women) that you will be with in either marriage or merely a relationship at various stages will have to trust you enough and understand that primary urges might make you sexually inclined towards someone else, but you are able to restrain it because of the relationship you are presently in. Because, if we are without trust in a relationship, what do we truly have? Jon.

Knowing and telling are two different animals altogether. She knows, and you certainly do not tell...

When did I ever mention that you should tell them? By all means, whatever you do, do NOT tell them. Jon.
