Michael Jackson - 'BAD' era hairstyle

Ok... I'm experimenting around here - I'm tossing up between the Jheri Curl (from Thriller), and Michael's "Bad Hair", from the Bad era. Here are some pics from the Bad Era, to show you what I mean:

So yeah - I'm kind of tossing up between this style and a Jheri Curl. I'm leaning towards the BAD look because Jheri Curl is high maintenance. Anyone know if there's a proper name for the BAD hairstyle, or whether I should just call it BAD hairstyle?

Anyway, how would one go about getting a BAD do?

(BTW, the hairstyle's bad, but in a good way, if you get what I mean... hell just listen to the song!)

Print out a picture and take it to any black hair salon. They should be able to do it for you. Keep in mind that most of the relaxed black hair styles are very hard on your hair and will change the texture of your hair forever even if you stop treating it.

Sorry, no help here, but the first pic is what I plan on Rasterbating to put next to my bed.

I may be mistaken, but I think its the same hairstyle from the Thriller era, but his hair had grown much longer.
