Clothes for halloween

Thread Starter
yes, I know this is weird (and early), but hopefully someone can help... I want to be Matt Foley (motivational speaker from SNL) for Halloween, and the major part of the costume is the jacket. He wears a blue and white check sport coat ( http://gonsalves.org/favorite/matt.htm ). Any suggestions about where I can get one relatively cheap?

i see jackets like that occasionally at goodwill.

I would think your best bet would be to go to thrift shops or a costume store. Maybe a JCPenney or Kmart. Even easier though, I'd say go to EBay.

That style was prevalent in the 70's but you don't really see a style like that sold any more. It probably came from the NBC wardrobe department You might find something used at the Salvation Army or a thrift shop. Also try, K-Mart, Walmart, Sears and the like

KMart and WalMart don't sell sport coats, though. Definitely check thrift stores and ebay.
