When dressing, what do you focus on the most? This could range from color-matching to silhouette, to trying to make your outfit as interesting as possible.
Fit and color/pattern/texture matching. From my perspective, "fit" is a less involved version of silhouette so that is something I continue to work on.

Do you base your outfits on certain key items (shoes, outerwear, shirts, jeans, etc)?
I try not to neglect any single aspect but I probably pay more attention to my jeans, shoes, and outerwear then to my shirts and accessories.

What attracts you to a certain brand? Do certain labels attract you because of..
the cut, quality of materials used, stitching, etc, the designer's ideologies behind the garments, or that label/designer's particular aesthetic?

I don't have much loyalty to any brand. I judge everything on a piece by piece basis.

Is there a designer that has been a particular inspiration for your style?
Not really.

Do you drop down serious cash for basics or more edgy or fashion-forward pieces?
Styleforum has tought me to appreciate the finer details in basic pieces to the extent that I am no longer attracted to most fashion-forward clothing.

When looking at an item of clothing, how do you figure how much you are willing to spend on it?
Well, I don't really have any limits that I confine myself to, but a quick glance at my clothing purchases within the past year shows the following pattern.
Tees: 20 - 100
Shirts: 150 - 200
Sweaters: 85 - 200
Jeans: 200 - 250
Outerwear: 800 - 1000
Shoes: 125 - 400
Sportjacket: 400 (only bought 1)

When dressing do you prefer mixing different price ranges and brands or do you stick to a certain price point because you don't want to sacrifice a certain level of quality?
I have no problem mixing different price ranges and brands. Saucemaster does a great job of this.
