Anyone ever hear of or own any shoes of this brand? I've seen some of their designs on various websites and ebay and they look pretty sharp.

I was wondering the same thing and found this thread. I checked the seller's feedback, found some eBayers who had purchased the double monks, and sent them messages asking if they were happy with their shoes. One just got back to me, regarding a purchase in October 2008.

I own a pair of these boots: http://www.figliodigiorgio.com/#/brown-boot/4529311399 They're light, comfortable, look nice and sleek under slim denim / chinos, and the leather feels nice and supple. They're not high-end by any means, but excellent value for money for me.

Besides that boot you posted most of their shoes appear to be glued.

Another comment from an eBayer came in this morning:

The shoes are decent. Leather is a harder leather. If you looking for a soft leather avoid these.

Sorry to bump these but any other reviews/comments?

They do look good. I wonder what brand they would compare to? AE? Probably not, right?

Cheers

I'm assuming that is a bad thing. Hah!

I purchased a pair a year or so ago. Absolute crap!!! I wore them twice, they looked terrible and really cheap. I gave them to Goodwill. Don't do it!

You guys should actually give FG a chance - I have tried 3 pairs and the truth is that they aren't Allen Edmonds but definitely worth the money and bit more at that. Galys - the owner is also a very respectable man who listens and understands your needs. I received the wrong size and he immidiately sent me the right size as I was going away for holidays. No hazzle at all. The service is excellent and the shoes are beautiful and also sturdy so for a price as low as 50 EUR you are actually getting a bargain! Have a look at http://www.fdg.gr/ and please share your experiences.

I've tried them. They are glued junk with cheap leather, if it is leather. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
