The QP, in person, looks great - much better in pictures. In pictures, I agree, the Buick resemblance is unfortunate, particularly the triple side detail thing. In person, though, it cannot be mistaken for anything other than what it is. It's beautiful. That said, while I appreciate what it is and its style, I wouldn't buy one. I am glad Maserati seems to be back on the map, however.

I've just never been a fan of the QP. As for the coupe you posted earlier....nothing less than beautiful. My parents have a neighbor who traded in his F355 for the previous model coupe, it's nice, but not nearly as beautiful as the 08 models.

The new Gran Tourismo is nothing but beautiful. The blue one is just stunning. I wish they could model the QP to be sedan version of it.

Gotta concur on that one. I can't for the life of me fall in love with any new car. Even the Alfa 8C...I mean, there's plastic in it. Plastic.

At least the coupe/GT doesn't have the awful wood steering wheel. The sedan's design is "difficult", but that helps it stand out -- esp. with age. The MB CLS looked cool when it first came out, but now that other MB (and Kia) models are copying the look it's as ho-hum as an E-class.
