48 inch waist - am I out of luck on denim?

I'd really like to get some new denim in order to undergo a massive wardrobe rework. Unfortunately it looks like I am out of luck in terms of finding anything from one of the designers people talk about here at Style Forum.

So long time lurker, spent some time searching, but no luck - does anyone have any suggestions on a big guy oddly proportioned (48x30 is what I usually wear even though it's a little big for me) to find some good denim?

Everything else is pretty easily found it seems.

Unfortunately... yea. I mean, it's possible that Levi's go up to that waist size but in regards to pretty much every brand that is discussed here, the top end is 36 with some rarely maxing out at 38/40.

let me be very blunt and state the obvious, even if it does sound crass and impolite...i dont care

LOSE WEIGHT

a new wardrobe overhaul is an excellent motivation for this as well

I really don't see how those proportions are even possible...

I wasn't sure if this guy was trolling but I chose to err on the side of politeness.

Kronik

respect to you for being polite

it just bugs me really badly when people who are this large (and obviously unhealthy) ask if they have sizes that allow them to not feel guilty or conscious of their excessive weight

it just further excacerbates the problem of obesity in the US...INSTEAD our friend over here should be on workout forums trying to LOSE WEIGHT and be healthy instead of finding pants to cater to his unhealthy lifestyle and enormous size

ridiculous.

Try APC NS in a size 36. I hear they'll stretch out pretty good after a few weeks.

Those proportions are possible. We actually did some custom jackets for a couple of guys who were a little bigger. One was about 52x34 and another was about 48x28. We didn't charge enough for that order...

Is he suppose to walk around naked in the meantime?

If being honest and straightforward is being a jackass, then I'm a jack ass. BUT I'm sure that if there are any medical professionals on this forum, they will agree with EXACTLY what im saying. Unless this guy either has a congential birth defect or something else that is out of his control, then he should be figure out how to get to a more reasonable waist size.

not asking about how to cover it up, this fool should be asking how to lose weight, not stay where hes at and just wear larger clothing to accomodate a size that unhealthy

what next? A size 49? Mabye 50?

no retard, if you read the original post you would have noticed that he said that he can find everything else EXCEPT denim in his waist size

way to go on the reading comprehension, you must be getting (or have got) your masters degree in not reading consicely and jumping to conclusions.

Look...

No disrespect guys. Believe me when I tell you I am in a very aggressive workout schedule and I am on my way down. I am about 5'11" and 280, but I fluctuate a lot.

I am not trolling, and I respect what you have to say, but if you can't offer something more helpful, don't offer anything at all. Its not like there are not big and tall guys who want to look nice. Last I checked the forum didn't have some big banner that said if you aren't 38W or less don't bother.

I guess we're going to need another Indian kid.
