Anyone know of a website or a really dumbed down bible that I can read? I'm tired of getting confused who everyone is but I know I'll never read the actual bible all the way through.

A friend learned it by reading a kids version of it. It was the same exact order as the real bible except written for kids. I think this would be easiest. I remember some of the most important stories and apostles. I'll see if the library has that dummies book.

My girl goes to a church group once a week and they discuss the bible in detail. She finds it much better than reading it outright because there are people at the meeting to answer questions and lead you through it easy.

I don't know about it firsthand though because I don't believe in the bible.

this is from a jewish source, but it is a good start. the first 5 books of the bible are read in a specific sequance and system in weekly pieces. this gives you the piece that is read that week, plus a commentary on it, and links to discussions. you can also have it emailed to you weekly.

Wow, great site. A little strange that a Reverend is authoring some pretty randy lego pr0n though, but as long as it is accurate I don't care.

Religion is a favorite subject of mine; I enjoy reading and learning about all of them. I am not religious at all; I identify ethnically/culturally as Jewish, however I am atheist. One very good source for basic information is http://www.religioustolerance.org/ -- "When one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion"
