Gentlemen, you are cordially invited to take part in this week's FRIDAY CHALLENGE - RULE(!) BREAKER!
Simple, choose a rule (! = legitimate or otherwise), break it and post your wares!
You may hold views that a commonly held belief/rule is flawed, outdated... and your RULE (!) BREAKING Post helps bust the myth or at the very least offers insight to others and food for thought.
There are many and varied debates/discussions around these parts as to the merit of this shirt (cutaway, spread, point, BD etc), that tie, no tie, that knot, wrong trousers, wrong jacket, wrong colour, too formal this, too informal that, stripes, checks, pin-stripes, pocket squares, socks, that shoe, a double monk, loafer, texture, no texture the list goes on... One rule to break or ten, that is your choice.
I would respectfully suggest that the criteria for voting is up to those that vote. For me I may vote for those that sway my view, those that change my mind or/and those that just look the 'mutts nuts'!
I am loathe to post examples in fear of stealing your thunder, I hope that's okay.
Challenge details:
Submissions must be posted by 1800hrs GMT Saturday 16th August 2014. All submissions are to have been worn in August though special dispensation may be sought, please be aware that refusal often offends. The poll will go up directly on Saturday evening GMT and close at midnight Sunday 17th August 2014. For the summary post, I will use only one pic' per entrant and will therefore choose your first offering.
