Seems Diesel's output of "classy" gear is a bit higher this and last season, moreso than usual

Shirts that arent embellished with weird embroideries and crap. Plus their fits are some of the best slimfit shirts I own. I've yet to see much GStar in the same vein

The jacket I have doesn't have the usual G-Star logo-- which is one reason why I bought it. Otherwise, I really like some of their designs and fit. I still have a pair of the original raw denim Elwood from G-Star I bought at Maxfield 10 years ago. I'll probably post it here on waywt when I'm in the mood to wear them.

Last night before I headed out to a local bar to hang out with a few local radio DJ's and listen to one of the worst bands I've ever seen live.

Old Navy
H&M
H&M
5EPxSF

Now looking at it I don't think the rest of my outfit even came close to being right with the 5EP's. oh well, I don't remember much of the night anyways...

I haven't tried on any of their jeans but those looks great.
Thanks. You can ask Get Smart to chime in since they used to be his but I personally like them. I need to soak them to get a bit more stretch out of them but they're somewhat cut like a Nudie Thin Finn only with light/med weight selvage. Like the Finn I think the jeans are more about the cut than aimed for denim heads but still.

I think they'd be a pretty big hit here with the skinnier fits if there was more distribution and brand recognition.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it's the same one. When I first got it, it looked a bit boxy, but I've put on some weight since then--particularly some extra muscle in the shoulders--and now it fits well.

Yeah, same one, since I got it from Braid, and passed it onto you when I moved. Glad you got it. You are significantly bigger than I am now (although I've put on about 8 lbs since I sold it to you, also mostly on the shoulders and chest) and the jacket definitely looks like it fits you better all around. Also, the color and style fit you better too.

Yeah, I couldn't remember who you'd got it from, but I was pretty sure it was braid.

Cool look Lost in VA.

Here's my second try at denim on denim. After today I'll have to give the jean jacket a bit of a rest.

Same as yesterday but with a white shirt instead of black, purcells instead of clarks, and cuffs. Oh, and I didn't roll the jacket's sleeves this time. Too matchy with the cuffs maybe?

I really love the side silhouette I get with the tightness of this jacket and the slightly baggy thighs of my 5ep straight down zip.

Thanks for the comment on my other pic Maharlika. I'm liking this jacket quite a bit, although I really would have preferred a nice type II replica. I think my next one needs to be dark to give me more options.

Ataru- the lighting is much better!
Yeah, the lighting isn't bad in my bathroom, it's just that I need to raise my the camera way over my head to take pics and it makes the proportions all weird. :P I usually focus on proportions before colors when putting together a fit so that sort of bothers me.

Gotta clean the mirror too.
Try placing the camera on the window facing in. You need to stop backlighting your pictures.

The sill isn't big enough for the camera and I don't own a tripod. Also the mirror on the opposite wall would create backlighting anyway.
