On a side note, you seem to have an interesting fragrance collection. How did you get into it?

Thanks RichValentine. I'll be out and about today and we have a 70 % chance rain today. I've always enjoyed the world of fragrances, but on a trip to Paris 2 years ago, I discovered Frederic Malle at the Rue Grenelle. I've never been to a fragrance shop that literally have smelling pods. Yes, you can't spray the cologne inside the room, it has to be on the pods. Claire, one of the SA, explained in great detail the notes of each fragrance and inside the store were photographs of the worlds great 'noses' like Dominique Ropoin, Maurice Roucel, Michel Roudnitska and others who created fragrances for Frederic Malle using an unlimited budget. It's become one of my passions since then. I never feel fully dressed without fragrance.

Only thing I don't dig about that fantastic outfit, Maharlika, is the jeans. I think it'd look as good if not better with some sort of similarly hued chino, perhaps? Otherwise: Pimp. Love the trench's lining.

Here's me today, nothing new

Not sure how I feel about the jacket over a hoodie thing, but it's fucking cold out, so what ya gonna do.

There's some merit to that, but tanned leather doesn't have a hell of a lot in common with skin on a living cow. You probably know all of this, b if you get a leather jacket drenched, you're going to distress it, likely changing the color and possibly the shape. Light rain is one thing, but beyond that, it gets less predictable. Doesn't mean the end result can't end up looking good in its own right, of course.

You've actually made me want a Burberry trench. That's.. not easy.

Kinda plain today, sort of a "standard Sauce winter outfit", but since this isn't the "post your awesomest outfits" thread, and because it's been a while since I posted:

I would rather want a horsehide trenchcoat like those insidious Germans.

I'd be watching my back, too, if I happened to be half a block away from the 24th annual "Skinheads for Philly" parade.

Was that just an excuse to quote my picture?

All I know is that there is going to be a 2 day Oi!-Fest in Allenton, PA with 30+ bands and the 4Skins are headlining (with Gary Hodges on vox who is the only singer that mattered)....see my avatar for said classic 4Skins pic

You need to hit that up Sauce...you'd *almost* fit right in, esp if I let you borrow some Ben shirts and my MA-1

the big question is why is that shit being held in PENNSYLVANIA????

Actually, there's always been a pretty substantial working class punk scene in Pennsylvania. A number of Interstates run through PA, so bands from NYC, New England, DC & anywhere in the southeast usually passed though on tour. While PA may lack the glitz of LA, many of the mid-sized cities there (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, York, Lancaster, Johnstown, Erie, etc., etc.) were bombed out economically after steel & textile manufacturing took a nosedive in the 70s & 80s, which upped the angst coefficient sufficiently.

Sadly, this also made them breeding grounds for white supremacists; in the mid to late 80s, the Metzgers were frequently instate trying to drum up support, and many of the groups continue to operate today (the Southern Poverty Law Center lists 27 active groups). The largest gathering of Nazi skinheads I ever saw was in Lancaster, PA, a frequent site of hate crimes.

Maharlika's latest is completely badass. Sauce, have you undergone footbinding?
