Maharlika, awesome style.. I'm consistently impressed, if by nothing else than the seemingly infinite variety of styles you pull off, and successfully at that.

I'm simultaneously sort of impressed, then confused.

When did you pick up the Kohzo? Is the wash made from the tears of rare Amazonian blue beetles?

I got it from Yoox for really really cheap a couple weeks ago. It was about $100. The wash seems to be made from crushed sapphires, as far as I can tell.

Thank you and also to Saucemaster, you are both an inspiration as well. I enjoy posting because I am able to be more objective on how my clothes look on me. The full length mirror sometimes just isn't enough. Also, I share in the spirit of others who posts in the waytn thread. Cheers!

right on M! Did you make a vest out of the MA-1 or did you attach plaid sleeves/collar?
...sleeves attached a while ago (pre Bosstones - so sometimes late 80s), 'collar' is a scarve in the same plaid. Jean with inverted turn ups... Gosh - I feel so 20...

I recently broke out Devil's Night Out and Where's You Go, much to my gf's chagrin. Also Gang Green, but I don't even bother trying to play that when she's around

if you really wanna be Dicky Barrett old-skool, bust out the Impact Unit 7"!!! classic Bah-ston SxExHC
post #7048 of 38322
...saw the Bosstones play maybe in 91 (and a few times more) in Munich in front of maybe 20 punters. Great show and even greater mayhem on the way home...

...hahaha, Straight Edge - a scene for kids that weren't allowed to drink anyway. Didn't have a big impact in Germany where the drinking age is 16...

...but just to balance things - I wore grey flanells and a tie at work and got me two nice dress belts from the only good menswearshop in my town - which sadly is closing down - hmmm, moreschis for 60 % off?

By request, a WWYWTOD (the other day):

Return of the mac - London Fog
CEGO x MMJ MTM shirt (Thanks Carl!)
Pringle x Moth vintage sweater
SF x EG
SF x 5EP
PS x Triumph

Closeup of shirt fabric:

This was some material that Carl Goldberg (Shirtmaven) had left over from making samples for Marc Jacobs. (Hope I'm allowed to tell you guys that.) It's a really interesting floral print on almost sheer dark purple-grey fabric. He made it based on my measurements - I think I measured an H&M slim fit medium and changed a couple things. It fits perfectly.
