Hey man, thanks for asking - I'm thanking God because my recovery/healing is way ahead of schedule. I'll still be in the, statistically speaking, high risk bracket for complications for a while. I'll be in the clear after about 6 months (June).

Hey as long as were talking about hats... I've been looking for a mens tweed bucket hat for some time. I see womens versions all the time but I only seen mens versions IRL. I was waiting in line at the hosp the other day and I asked this old man where he'd gotten his, of course it was Ireland.

Was woken up this morning by someone that slid into the ditch. I swear people around here drive like drooling morons whenever the weather even hints towards snow/sleet.....Warming up the Ford to pull out the Explorer:

I really like these boots, but I've only had them for about a week, so I couldn't really tell you yet. For the price I actually paid, they could fall apart in a year and I'd be fine with it. The leather is surprisingly nice on these, and the stitching (on my pair, at least) seems fine. If they turn out to be bad, you'll probably hear me bitching about it.

Nice--everything fits quite well. Not a huge fan of the toes on those shoes, but other than that, everything works. I like the brown belt with the black cardigan, "rules" or no.

Nah, my little cousin was out taking pictures of the snow/ice, and I got her to snap a few pics while I cranked it and got it warm enough to pull.

I think it's an '80 Ford 2000, the gas-powered model.
