Thanks, I didn't like it at all until I put the warmers on. Funny you mention DH, it's actually a Rick Owens knockoff I think. I was afraid it was a little too "Obi Wan Kanobi" style for me haha

BrettChaotix, +1 on the other compliments. The look is good. And the shirt(s) look just the right length to me, actually--if that's the result of the jacket pulling them up a bit, maybe you should get them hemmed.

Yeah, it could work with other hairstyles, but the longer hair makes hats look cooler sometimes. My hair won't grow like that anymore, if ever, bastard!

i have two hats. A very stingy brimmed vintage stetson in black. and a relatively unknown brand modeled by my dog here, which I'm wearing in that last picture.

Peacoat - Udeshi
Sweater - J.Crew
Shirt - J.Crew
Tie - Polo
Trousers - MacHay
Socks - Paul Smith
Shoes - C&J for Polo

All of those were scored on sale (the Udeshi coat was a real steal too).

Re: My Alden boots with jeans - I don't actually, as most of the denim I have are lighter washes and they do not really look good together. I'm getting a pair of tan wingtip boots in a few months though, and those will work quite well.
