I think the fact that drizzt's photos are taken from a low angle(from the ground up) also makes his thighs look more unflattering than they probably are

+1 - I'm somewhat close in size to drizzt, (6'1", 205-210, 36 waist with 25.5 thighs - slightly out of condition since it is finals and I'm not working out much)
I actually feel that my lower body sometimes overwhelms my upper body (I probably have much longer arms than drizzt does, though - I have a 6'3 to 6'4 wingspan, with smaller than expected hands).

if that's true, he's probably much more balanced in real life.

He just needs to raise the camera about 1 or 2 feet to about eye level. it's more a question of photo skills than anything else.

Hmm... I can't actually see the point in producing and selling "skinny" jeans with waist 32,34 upwards. But that may only be the stupid approach from my perspective, having 2/3 of your weight at same body height

I don't buy it. In some of the photos, especially with the TF, you can see thigh and calf definition pushing on the fabric! There is no chance that they are less tight that some of the other more flattering fits he has posted.

The TF, I think, might be pushing it - although it might be more that there may be some imbalance issues as you pointed out - with a slim shirt it'll be fine. But most of his looks are ok.

as for me, I generally stick to things like the ES Fulton and Nudie SS. no slim jims, thin finns or other skinny jeans for me.

Not that you asked but the boot blousing look does not work. Unless your in the military it has no place in any wardrobe. Sorry. I do see the look you are trying to pull, however, and think you could pull it off just fine with brown suede oxfords or chukkas.

The hoodie is sick. Good fit on the Nudies too. Are they Slim Jims?

GetSmart: fucking A, man. Just wish you would've worn the 1911's (I just wanna see 'em work with with different fits, considering snatching a pair up as soon as cultizm is getting my size) .

Feel free to post additional comments about them but you'll be wasting your breath.

The acquiescent shall inherit the earth.

it begs the question then.

do you dress the way you like or do you dress to fit in with the masses and/or your friends? i stand out almost everywhere i go but i will not change the way i dress just because everyone else around me is usually boring as fuck.

like i always say "wear what you dig man. wear what you dig"
