berlin report: the only small criticism that i might have had with a few of your fits is that everything was so perfectly put together and so seemingly brand new that i got a sense that the clothing wasn't yet fully yours...put another way, it was almost as if your talent was overshadowing your spirit...

but with the slight quirkiness of the sweater in your last pic and the way you so easily wore that cardigan with the t-shirt in the one before that and the glasses you're rocking lately that make you feel a connection with your dad, your personal touch has come through very clearly...

SF is now CJ (Circle Jerk) Forum. Nothin too special today, finals for two weeks (or rather final unit tests followed by comprehensive finals) Slim black blazer, Cheap black textured slim fit Express button up ($30 the fit is spot on if you size down, quality is better than ass but meh), Novita Silver on silver patterned skinny tie, NEW Kimono pattern belt (really fuckin colorful, but its a good contrast to my usual dark outfits), APC NS, Gray/black stripe socks, same old black leather pointy shoes Studyin hard today, so maybe pics later

This is an interesting observation. I had actually stopped posting for a while because I thought I wasn't showing anything new, also in the literal sense. I think it has (at least for me) become some sort of a joke that everytime someone asked me what this or that was they would inevitably get some answer like: Hanes, stolen from BF or The Gap but a few seasons old...etc. The clothes looking new maybe has something to do with the fact that I never really get a chance to wear them out because of the nature of my business.
Anyway, thanks for the insight. Something has been bothering me lately (I don't feel like making an effort at all) so maybe I should explore the point you made.

well, i'm sure your sartorial malaise will make a turnaround, soon enough...but, in the meantime, i'd be just as interested in seeing your casual everyday fits as the ones you estimate as post-worthy...

i post pics, here and there, mostly to document the evolution of a noob...but, i am definitely struggling as if i were trying to express myself in a new language...and, there's been no better way for me to learn than by watching you fluent-speakers do your thing...so, do keep it up!
