Yeah, I think it's a nice try but the boot tuck just ain't working here. also, seems like the top half and bottom half are pretty different. One's like skinny jean with boots (sort of alternative, badass, rocker, etc) while the top is cardigan and tie... If the jeans were maybe a bit looser I think it's match more. just my 2cents

you've got to be one of the coolest middle-aged (I mean late 30's, by which I really mean early 40's) guys I've seen in a while. "Kudos" (that's what the kids say nowadays right?)

I pictured you were older since you were a professor and post regularly at the MC forum. Haha, didn't mean anything by it.

Lel. Awsome fit! How did you get your MJK Shawl to fit under there? Also do Band of Outsiders shirt stretch? It seems like layering under would stretch the shirt quite a bit...

Yes, he's alive and well.

So, since you are still posting here, how exactly would you know that? But good to know that he's alive and kickin, thanks

+1

I don't know how it is looked at in the US, but over here button downs are not to be worn with ties at all. You can occasionally see guys (mainly 50+) wearing them with a tie, but it always makes me want to.... Seriusly, those are casual-only. If you definitely must have the look of the collar you can always buy some nice tab collar shirt, otherwise stay with a classic collar Just my humble opinion, though

Style is never a question of age. I've seen guys and girls around 18 dressing really really nice, and I've also seen people easily twice the age of the average SF poster dressing equally sharp. I've had a superior around her fifties who always managed to dress appropriate yet classy and stylish which I did admire a lot. Given the average 20ish douchebag one could even conclude that style comes with age or at least a certain development of his/her very own character.

That being said, I liked that pic as always, but despite being a definite advocate of some stacking at the bottom of trousers so they don't look too even and sleek, in this case may I suggest having those shortened about half an inch or so? It may be due to those shoes, but I think they do not fall as nice as those we coulod see in your last pictures

Ah cool thanks for the response. Does BoO stretch in your opinion?
