I like everything else about the fit, though.

Oh and the khakis... they're a jean/cotton mix, and I think the fit is fine. Not tight enough for your tastes?

lots of people use things for form and make them look good

its not that theyre not tight enough, its that they look horrible and are eating up your shoes.

w/e aside from the obvious suggestion of more fitted/flattering khakis, I think Mr. Moos fits are both bad ass (yes, especially including the unkle cracker/papa roach stance)

I see - thanks for the input. I don't know, the scarf really wasn't as tight as it looks in the picture. It's 100% cashmere, so I like to feel it on my neck and not have it completely loose (I can see how it might be a tad short in this situation). I have seen some enormous scarves on this forum which hung way, way down to the chest/belly and people commented positively on them, and I was kind of aghast. Different strokes, I guess.

So... they're too long? Is that what you mean by eating up my shoes? Or not tapered enough?

lol the fact that his mom took it + the setting reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Skinner says to his mom: "Seven o'clock Friday night, Mother! Time for our weekly silhouette!" I swear the room was just like this.

I love the fit, Darnielle. Sitting like that makes me extremely uncomfortable though. I agree with ctrlaltelite though. Figure out how to use the timer function already.

I think that this year's knit Bedford works great with turnback sleeves...at least, I wear it that way:
