Today's wife-comment was "you look like you're about to break into song and dance like in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". I had no idea what the hell she was talking about.

Translation: Overly colorful checkered shirt seems like a country musical costume.

Warlok, Having been drugged and under the age of 18, my then-girlfriend made me watch her favorite film: Seven somethings for Seven whatevers. I thought she meant "Magnificent Seven" at the time so I agreed to see it. While she was working on putting in on, I walked into the kitchen to get drink. When I got back, there were some farmer dudes in brightly colored shirts singing in a barn to a bunch of girls, at which point I mentioned that I didn't remember "Magnificent Seven" having a gangbang sequence (must have been deleted extras). When I realized the error, I also remembered I had left my wallet in my other pants back at home. Total time watched: a full 30 seconds. Still, I sadly know exactly what your wife meant. I drink every day to try to erase the mental images but they just won't wipe clean.

I thought about ordering a hat but in the end didn't wanna blow $40 on something that would be undoubtedly crappy.

GS, do you know if the sizing is the same on the indigo Conny as the Black Coated one?

That's awesome xchen!! A few months ago, in anticipation of the new film, I almost pulled the trigger on putting together a complete "authentic" Indy fit based on www.indygear.com. Things like the jacket and Alden boots would have been reusable but the fedora, pants, shirt, etc. just didn't justify the expense. BUT if they do another sequel I hereby swear I will track down and buy everything down to the dirt.

Well the Adventurebilt hats are over $300 I think and they take like 1 year or more to arrive. My jacket is not the authentic Indy one, either, but shares a few similarities with the official Indy jacket.

A buddy of mine had one that looks identical, not bad by any means. However, the shamrock gets me caughtup on St. Patty's day.
