Get Smart, this is great but there is something oddly disconcerting about it. Makes me kind of nervous. Its probably why I like it.

That coats fits great, i love the entire outfit...except the "Docs" uuhhhh!!.

I think if you get to wear white birks, he gets to wear white docs...

if it were to get me an extra point or half, I do have some proper white laceups that would def be Rye approved.

I feel the same way - not a Docs fan. You have so many shoes it's hard to pick the ones I might have paired with that but I'm thinking your Alden cordovan chukkas would have been nice.

^^^ iirc he has some white PS Starrs that would have the same punch from the white but fit the lines better. imo anyway

I just need an excuse to wear the white Docs .....I would def wear different shoes for "the real world" rather than "work". Tonite's Mrs Get Smart's bday so when we go out to dinner, I'm for sure changing my shoes (the alden cordo chukkas are a great suggestion Baron)

I don't like Docs in general but I like the Docs on GS. It's like a cool facial scar that you got from a knife fight and 'personalizes' his look.

^^ thanks. It's hard to "grow out" of them. I've been wearing em since the mid 80s and despite many attempts at evolving past them, they always end up in my rotation, and I can't count how many times I've sold and rebought the same f'ing boots over and over

Wearing:
- Swedish Tee with print: Vidmark i Värmland
- G-Star US Short Raw Denim Jeans from around year 2000 (second hand, washed once from the preowner)
- Handmade woolen socks
- Sandals
- Lee Storm Rider 101-LJ 42 Reg blanket lined denim jacket from around 1960, never washed still very heavy raw denim!!

...wouldn't have wanted to see what had happend if you wore those WHITE boots to a skinhead show in '86, 87. At least around here they would have been kind of oxblood afterwards - well at least blood... ...call me boring or conservative but cherry red, oxblood or black are the only colours I'd wear (well, I actually wear those...)...
