There's nothing wrong with this casual ensemble, Gap items wouldn't fit so close to the body. This has all the subtle trademarks of someone who knows style, it's what I miss about New Yorkers. You see one outfit and are interested in the person behind the clothes. At least I am when it comes to people wearing $1500+ outfit for a 5 min walk to Starbucks.

Speaking of ridiculous, you just compared a pratt knot to a windsor. I tie pratts on BoO ties all the time and they're fine, small (thanks to the width of the tie) and symmetrical. I use 4IH most, but not exclusively. Hard and fast rules re: tie knots in SW&D? What have we become? And yes, I actually am Ari Gold.
