Either that, or finds it incredibly endearing that your seventh-grade sense of humor hasn't been suffocated under the weight of adulthood.

Showing off some of my fall haul. (Plus unveiling my mug on SF for the first time.)

Woolrich Woolen Mills Cruiser Shirt blue chambray
EG Herringbone Shawl Collar Cardi
EG field jacket (08 S/S)
Iron Heart 634s (brand new, so still stacking weird)
Tricker's Stow Brown Krupp Cordovan

did you soak those iron hearts? i'm no denim expert, but i had some brand new skulls that were baggy-ish/ weird and after i gave them a soak (and wore them until they dried...) they conformed to my body really well. that eg grey jacket is pretty sweet.

It seems to me like a very expensive way of dressing in very drab colors.

Thank God I can't get neg-repped on this board. I don't "get" workwear per se, so take it with a grain of salt.

I really like this except the apparent under-roll of your pants leg...just embrace the weird stacking. I'd also like to see a pic of this in natural light because the colors seem a bit off. I wonder what this really looks like.

Or get them hemmed, which I think is better than either of the previous options.

I wouldn't equate expense with colorful, but I would understand you saying "a very expensive way to look very drab".

I like it, I'm conservative like that.

When I say the IHs are brand new, I mean brand new - this is the first time I've worn them. They are about 6 inches too long, so look really bad stacked or rolled - I'm underrolling them in the pic. I'm planning on wearing them around the house to let them stretch a bit, then I'm going to soak them and have them hemmed.

thanks for the comments guys, the thing that pisses me off about the length of the pants (and partly also my height as it goes hand-in-hand) is that i have trouble keeping the pants remained tucked in, especially when i am moving my legs up like running up stairs and such...they end up kinda just folding over the top of the boots. I think if i was 5'9-5'10 i would not be having this problem, either that or wearing a higher pair of boots.
