They look cheap. The design is not good, overkill on details and a blatant knock off of a 7-8 year old Prada version. Poor shape. May be passable if worn with a slim black (black warp and weft) jean or slim black military pant. Unfortunately I think people that shop Steve Madden don't have the know how to figure this out for them selves.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not...?

In any case, don't Allen Edmonds cost less than $500 retail? Many people on this board swear by them. Personally, Officine Creative makes shoes that are just below $500 retail (around $485), and I think they're great.

I've also had good experiences with NDC and Fiorentini + Baker.

You don't know LabelKing then. I can't see LK wearing Allen Edmonds, period.

Well, vintage AE made of phoque, may be.

Heading outside for a walk, perhaps a film at the local cinema-theatre? Bowling last night, I'm happy to report, was a great success!

Out last night for the g/f's 21 - for some reason, if one of doesn't take the pic it looks like crap. Sorry about the monotony of jeans and boots - but it's been damp, cold and icky for days.

Sisley P-Coat
Valentin Fraas Scarf
(Le Marais Blaze, Jantzen)

I don't like Allen Edmonds; I wouldn't wear them and have never owned them.
