Guys, looks like this is a good time of year to order from Jantzen.
After reading Lonneker's post I submitted an online order last night. This morning I got a confirmation email from Ricky saying that he would send the shirts asap.
This must be a record - an email from the man himself in a few hours!

backlash. Everytime someone posts something like this, an equal number of people will bound to be disappointed with lost orders, non delivery and other problems as the order start to pile up once again...

Fair enough. Just wanted to share my recent excitement here. It's like others have said before: you put in your order, forget about it and then one day, hopefully, you will be pleasantly surprised by the mailman.

After two months and (multiple!) email exchanges with Ricky since then, he finally discovered the fabric I ordered is out of stock

BTW, to those of you who have gotten their shirts without updating the wiki: Shame on you!

They suck real bad. Called them after waiting for over 2 months and Ricky or whoever had the audacity to tell me a 2 months wait was ok since other customers have been waiting for 6 months. Are you kidding me???

There are 4 staff members at Jantzen. Ricky and his off sider Mr Black do most of the suit fittings.
Alex is a younger fellow always in a suit and Samson is the young jeans wearing guy.
My first impression of Jantzen was with Samson. I went to have a few shirts made. Samson showed me a pile of books and walked back to his computer. Samson then did the measuring. This first measurement is crucial and unluckily for me, he botched the measurement. Months later they were still producing shirts too small and each needed to be returned. I asked Ricky to throw away the measurements and start again, but he assured me they were now OK. They weren't.

I was in HK last month, and had an identical experience. Service was shambolic, and while I can't fault the quality a bit more care on Samson's part during wouldn't have gone amiss.

Currently debating whether to risk a 2nd order - can anyone recommend a fabric?
