Serves you right for all the Jantzen bashing you post.

There are a number of new solid blue fabrics on http://www.jantzentailor.com/latestmaterial5.htm. I imagine 3704, "Light Blue Fine Twill", will be quite nice. The twills Jantzen uses tend to be some of their better fabrics IMO.

Is twill an acceptable fabric for use with a tie/suit? I don't know much about fabrics but after some research it seemed that poplin was the most plain cloth that they have.

As Wongo pointed out, this is how they treat everyone. You must be an Autistic Savant to deduce that this treatment is particular to only me.

Twill looks great with a suit. For the fine twill, it looks like a solid but with a bit of a shimmer. But even the more distinct "grain" twill is still fine with a suit.

it doesn't bother anyone that they use a non-secure website (regular http) to take credit card info or am I missing something?

So, is it necessary to pay the paypal invoice even though i sent my credit card? I'd rather not pay with paypal up front since there's always a chance I won't get the shirt. Is it safe to ignore the paypal invoice and he will just charge my card? I never got any type of confirming email, just the invoice.

More than acceptable - twill is a fairly dressy fabric. In my experience it drapes better than poplin and has a natural sheen to it, whereas poplin will be a bit more stiff/dry and also feel a bit thinner. For very light colored shirts twill has the added benefit of being generally less translucent than poplin.

EDIT: With Jantzen I would stick to those fabrics labeled "Fine twill" and skip those labeled "Soft twill" or "Rug twill" as the latter tend to be a bit too thick and textured for my tastes.

You talk like a hillbilly so I'm going to leave you alone. Insanity and violence tend to find expression in the underclass.

Shirt arrived. Aside from the fact that they used the wrong fabric, which is still good quality, and it's a bit tight around the elbows and waist it worked out fine.

Especially since they didn't charge me.

Heh.
