What colors do you guys suggest for moleskin pants. I tend to favor burgundy as a first choice and lovat as a second. Any thoughts?

I have off white incotex euro cut moleskin pants.

I really dig them, they give a fresh modern effect when paired with a soft wool
browngrey herringbone jacket in the fall.

I pair them with suede chukka's in cognac or tan brogues (antiquated with med. brown parts of the shoe)

I do feel that, due to the texture of moleskin, the other clothes you wear should have some texture as well. So anything like oxford cloth shirts, suede shoes (sturdy brogues in calf only if the leather has aged a bit), herringbone or tweed jackets (cashmere would be cool to if I could afford it) would work just fine in my opinion.

I saw some bright red borrelli's I really liked, I would wear them probably.. did not buy them though.

+1 on burgundy, tho the only pair I have are a dark red, but leaning towards burgundy

I would get olive green....not a fan of tan trews in general (hate khakis & chinos) and forest green would give me a Riddler complex.

Petrol blue sounds like it'd be amazing

I have them in forest green, lovat, tan/camel, red, and pink.

I usually wear them with a tattersall or OCBD shirt, brogues or loafers (suede really looks nice), and sometimes a v-neck sweater.

tan/camel =great with striped blue white shirt
winered/burgundy= classic with soft blue oxford shirt
yellow=not for everybody but I have seen it work on some mediterenean guys, paired with light blue shirt and darkblue sweater.
bright red= only if you have the balls to pull this off, but hey pink pants is more daring in my opion. I would definately not wear moleskin in pink.

I second Navy as a great choice.

On a slightly different point - I can never make up my mind whether or not to have turnups on moleskins. In general when I have side pockets I do, and when front cross pockets I dont. No particular logic.
