White's semi dress vs Hathorn traveler boots

I have owned a pair of White's semi dress boots for about 18 months and have found them great. I recently almost pulled the trigger on ordering a pair of Hathorn traveler boots, but decided not to at the last minute.

First off, I wondered if I needed two similar boots -- perhaps someone who has owned or, at least, seen the two boots could share their opinion. Is there a significant benefit to owning both boots? Aside from owning two pairs of excellent boots, and taking comfort in that, is it worthwhile from a logical perspective? After all, the White's semi dress boot is recraftable and seems pretty bullet proof. Would I be unhappy with a Hathorn boot after owning a White's boot?

I'm wondering what you all think --
