Now that is a funny story! Funnier as I can imagine the larger % of boot-loving forum goers having the exact same response. Although you have f&&eked up now by ruining the first sample of leopard print work boots :)

two reasons for this post today I love my boots and like to show a current post here and maybe somebody can get some relief seeing something nice other than shots of some assholes work today in Roseburg. pray for the families people.

I've been eyeing up the WESCO Morrisons for a while and when a pair showed up on the WESCO seconds page, I went for it. The "flaw" was that they had some black scuffing on one heel. I wanted them for work, so what did I care. They are Burlap leather, and the only downside to the Burlap is that it is 5.5-6 oz vs the heavy WESCO leathers which are 7 oz.
So here they are after a week. I wish I had a pic right out of the box, but I forgot to take one. As you can see, I wasn't real worried about a "scuff". :D

andy, those look fine to my old eyes. hell I am so addicted I almost bought some spiked logging boots at bakers yesterday to quell my insatiable need for boots. did just order a stock nicks Roberts that will arrive Monday. that's one way to skip the wait for my Christmas horsehides.

They're great! At this point they are well broken-in, so now I'm just working on "patina". I think they will darken a little with age, which is exactly the look I was going for.

I did discover one nice benefit, they are great for passing through airport security! I can have them off in 1 second and back on just as quick!

And I hear you on the window shopping. The spiked logging boots pop up fairly frequently in my size on the WESCO seconds page. I have zero use for them, but I always think to myself, "is there any use I can come up with to justify buying these?" I have to be sure to never visit that page if I have been drinking.

I am glad you posted these in this thread too. I think it is good to have one thread for all the Cascadia boot companies...I almost wonder if we could include Truman here? As I said in the other thread...these are phenomenal...
