Funny you should mention that, I was gonna suggest to Edwin that if he needed more fabric to just trim a bit off Cleav's!

A DB would be quite rakish, but I think the cloth will have more versatility as a single breasted.

Hard to argue with a picture like that. I may just send that to Steed and and ask them "just make that, please".

Some snaps of the completed grey suit from BnT. There's a slight issue with the left shoulder and left sleeve head that will be fixed

Nice pants, details?

Not really ongoing anymore, since I today received my three pairs of bespoke chinos/"pents" along with a pair of shorts. To say that I'm satisfied would be putting it mildly. They're pretty damn awesome and fit is spot on (though I only tried on one pair once).

Bespoke Shorts <3

@SKM, very nice. Is this your first experience with Cerrato? Could you give some details on the process (i.e. fitting, delivery time, etc.)? I came across his name in another thread and was looking for more information about him.

Indeed. As my GF said: "but now you can never go back to OTR pants/shorts" - and I'm afraid she's right...

Yes, first experience with him and a very great one at that. I brought fabric, he measured me (loosely) and drafted my pattern directly on the fabric and cut it right away while the telephone was ringing furiously:

AppleMark

Came back 40 min. later for my first and only fitting and he had nailed it pretty much. He made some minor adjustments and I requested the waist to be lowered and the pants to be slightly longer as it is cotton that will wrinkle. After that he noted down all the details of my other commissions, and he said he would finish them in two weeks. I think it took around three, but two times he contacted me to ask me if my pants arrived safely. A very nice gesture I think. Anyway, I picked them up today and as stated I'm really impressed. Everything is spot on and exactly according to my requests. The shorts are also great even though I didn't even get a fitting while there, only agreed on the length by a chalk mark on my trial pair.

Other than that I will just add that Marco is a really, really cool guy and we got along very well although his English is quite limited. And I'm very happy to say that I think I have found my go-to for pants smile.gif

^ Very nice write up! Thank you.

I've been thinking for a long time about visiting Naples and you just gave me another reason to go! I'd like to visit Caccioppoli, meet Antonio Meccariello and now get some trousers made up in the Spanish Quarter - sounds like the perfect bespoke holiday. smile.gif

Did you arrange a meeting with him up front by phone/e-mail?

It's Huddersfield Cloth from the Lindley Collection. It has an open weave, a very dry, crisp hand and lots a texture - almost but not quite sharkskin. About 10oz from memory

Edit: tie is Vanda midnight blue hopsack
