The 175th Henley Royal Regatta has just ended, when the world's rowers and their admirers come to loiter on the banks of the Thames, dressed in their finest.

Due to family commitments, I didn't get to spend as much time there as I'd have liked, but here are a few photos from Friday morning.

And some people eschewed the traditional blazer for a distinctive style all their own.

It was Kingston regatta this weekend. Nice to stroll past, watch a few races, have an ice cream. Mostly schools competing.

No fancy blazers, just one bloke in red trousers suitable for LAMFRT blog spot.

I intend to go to HRR for the first time this year

Any inputs on dos and dont's would be greatly appreciated (I'm of ethnic background, not sure how I will be viewed) but I'm determined regardless.

More info on fashion and possibly places/shops where I can buy them would be icing on the cake.

I love every one of those blazers.
