Is the Samba K (kangaroo leather) much more comfy? - Page 2

So all they're doing is not selling them in california? So you can still order them online in california right? I guess it's a victory albeit a small one. Not that i find sambas attractive or anything, but i didn't know they made more shoes with roo leather. There's no way there can be any benefits to using it besides advertising and uniqueness, so it is kinda pointless, but i'm not gonna lie, it definitely is kinda cool to have roo leather.

Well, kangaroo leather is more stretchy and durable than normal leather...

Without having owned Kangaroo leather shoes, you really just don't know the difference. Somehow, K series mould to the foot much better than cow leather, which is the main reason why they're used in soccer cleats. For normal shoes, it's sheerly for excess comfort.

The difference between synthetic and Kangaroo leather in terms of comfort is negligible if there is any. The benefit of the Kangaroo leather comes in terms of feel with the ball at your feet. I've worn various Sambas for game play and as streetwear, and if you're in it only for the look, it doesn't make a big difference.

Kangaroo leather sounds fun. California doesn't know what they're missing.

Got them in roo leather, and they do feel slightly more comfy, and they stretched out nicely. Thanks all.

Kangaroo leather is more durable than cow leather. Accordingly, you can use a thinner piece of K-leather without sacraficing the durability of regular cow hide. The thinner leather, of course, provides better feel. For example, K-leather is often used for motorcycle gloves.

Yes, they are a million times more comfy and last almost forever. They are simply amazing. Unfortunately, they no longer make them. I would seriously pay $125 for a brand new pair of size 13 Samba K, but alas, I can't find them anywhere. I've been wearing my current pair everyday for over 2 years, I've never had a pair of shoes last this long, but I'd really like to have a new pair. If you find a pair, buy them; it'll be worth it.
