yeah, this whole thing of always looking for the thickest / juiciest / most expensive leathers & materials can be a bit misguided [though i totally comprehend where it comes from].

seasonal appropriateness is often left by the wayside, and if adhered to will result in a much better enjoyment of your wardrobe.

that being said, i'm pretty sure that jacket isn't selling because it's blue [as much as i personally love blue, passport definitely proved to be counter to most Rick fans' collective tastes].

Yeah it's REALLY hard to nail these codes.

Listed some NEW pieces in the classifieds here.

Do you guys think a slim medium could afford to size down on a cotton double layer?

yeah you can size down on the double layer - it'll stretch out to dress-like proportions eventually anyway. ;p

Sorry if this isn't allowed/the right place to do this, but does anyone have a high neck Intarsia in black lamb (mid-weight smooth, or otherwise "untreated") in a size 48 (or equivalent) that they'd be willing to sell?

I've decided it's the leather for me, and so I'm starting to at least search now.

Oooh, straight fire kunk. Never been a fan of timbs, but I would rock these
post #1619 of 2330

Love those. I wish there were more pics online of those on-foot...I know I could probably figure it out based off how Timbs look, but I think I'll just have to head to a store one of these days to try em on. They've looked awesome in just about every colorway so far...big fan of the mustard, they look great blacked out:

but I think my favorite is green suede on black:

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but ever since I've started to really get into Rick (if vicariously for the moment), I've liked his colors more than his blacks. The silhouettes are amazing and all, but the tones and shades he gets, especially on leathers, are just too good.

yeah i have them in black too but was itching for some brown/beige footwear as i bought a lot of the mustard-colored stuff this fall. i would say camel is a more accurate description of the color.
