They had some Maui Brewery beers at Geers yesterday, ao. the Coconut Porter. Recognised the cans from posts. Didn't buy 'm cause the ABV is too low for me, but cool looking cans anyway.

Birthday today so thought the bourbon barrel aged Old Numbskull would go down well. Absolutely delicious. Old Numbskull is my favourite Alesmith beer thus far and this barrel aged version takes it to another level.

 

 

This has been on my "to do list" for a while now and arrived today by way of birthday present. To be savoured on another day.

 

 

1990 Thomas Hardy's Ale. Seems like it was cellared well as no oxidization was present (not by me incidentally). Just rich dried fruits and a boozy backdrop. Amazing.

 

 

Just trying to decide what to end the evening with now. Work tomorrow though...
