All the nice wine and whiskey glasses I've used have had a straight edge. Maybe I got used to that. Something about the thinness of the edge

I don't see a huge purpose the edge in anything outside of a tulip and want to see that movie coming out soon.

Ah, I thought you were referring to the outward top of the glass, in stead of the rim itself. I know what you mean, but hadn't really noticed it. (I would have on a wine glass, I think.)

If I was able to visit my beerstores more often, I'd sit on a cellar full of the stuff...

True. At least the lip of the Teku is a bit smaller. They cost the same. Wouldn't have bought the Craft Master One, but they were practically for free on those two events (2 € deposit.. a glass regularly costs 5 € and you were allowed/supposed to take them with you). Still a decent glass. Does the Spiegelau IPA glass have a lip? Edit: From what I can tell of pictures, it doesn't.

No lip but I don't understand why they made it so your hand warms the beer. Glass is fairly nice and thin so it feels nice but absorbs heat easily. I guess you're supposed to drink it quickly?

Tekus are almost perfect. My preferred glass

In Japan I saw a beer glass shaped like Mount Fuji so that when your pour beer in it the head looks like the top white part of the mountain. Couldn't find any for purchase tho

Yeah, I guess. But with the Craft Master one it ain't that bad.

Same problematic with those stemless Riedel wine glasses--you picked some of those up, didn't you (at deep discount?)? I don't really understand those, tbh.

Haven't picked them up yet (free!) but going to use as water glasses. Apparently I can pick em up any time before the 31st

Craft master one looks very very nice

Free sounds good. wink.gif
I'm wondering how sturdy they are. Probably relatively thick glass.

The glasses in my last post and NOBD's posts are the Craft Master One. They have the big lip.

Also rastal, btw. Beer is meh. Too bright and a bit thin.

Fine, I stood in a line (for 15 minutes) to buy bcbs.

Got one regular, one coffee, and one barleywine. Didn't bother with a 4th bottle because it will probably take me a year to drink these anyways.
