Ha. I feel the same about the shit i can't get like Hill Farmstead and Tree House! I rate the Nelson slightly higher, but honestly, godamn Sculpin Grapefruit is really what's the bomb right now IMHO. Maybe it's just that I've had so much "regular" Sculpin over the years. I dunno... but something 'bout that grapefruit!

Grapefruit Sculpin is out and about in Brooklyn. Have only seen it in bars, but according to beer menus.com it is available at retail.

I think that was the very first Hoppin' Frog I ever had. It set the bar too high for the rest I had.

Here's what I drank over the weekend.

Had been sitting on this for a couple weeks, glad I got around to opening it while it was still "fresh". I've had dry-hopped saisons before but this was something else. Tasted like galaxy or Citra hops. Fruity but with a bitter and yeasty saison like finish.

Trillium brewed this at Mercury brewing when they were shut-down. Not as good as their other hoppy offerings. Bigger malt presence than usual. Still pretty good though.

I DID NOT like this beer at all. Metallic raspberry nose and the taste is pure sugary raspberries, not tart at all. Mouth feel was dense like syrup. Thankfully my girlfriend liked it so it didn't go to waste.

Another awesome beer from Crooked Stave. Got a lot of grape flavor. Tart without being overbearingly sour.
