Saw this at a local shop. It is $30 and they only have it cold. I'd buy one if I could cellar it.

You can "cellar" it, but it doesn't age that well. The 100% Bourbon Barrel versions of all their anniversary beers are amazing these of the shelf versions not so much.

So I hit up my local today, which in the past was graced with at least a case of Founder's Limited Releases and found that this time they were no so lucky. They said that with only 12,000 bottles of CBS to go around that despite being a great customer there just wasn't enough to go around. Oh well, so I miss out on trying CBS for the first time...maybe next year. At leat they have plently of the regular Brekfast Stout to keep me happy!

I wouldn't be surprised if you saw some wind up on tap over at Poor Phil's, I know tonight a barrel of CBS will be tapped at Sheffield's, I just don't remember what time exactly...

That would be great! Even Avenue Ale House would be awesome...I know Prarie Moon in Evanston often has some rareties on tap and in bottle (the last time I was there about a week ago they had BC RARE for the unbelievbly low price of $50 of 22oz! However, I went with a pint of Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro Pour (whatever that means) on tap and my fav Old Rasputine in bottle. I'll keep my eye out for CBS but won't be gutted if I miss out on this year's offering! Cheers for the head's up!

this stuff is full of win.

B Nektar Imperial Funky Monky - a mead from a local company. honey and cherry. it aint cheap, but it's really good. nice tart cherry flavor, but the honey sort of smoothes out the flavor.

Here in Texas they're charging $16 for a 4 pack which is hard to swallow.

Same price here in the one store that still has some in stock. Honestly, its one of my favorites and its only $1 more per can than any of the other great stouts, so its worth it to me.

I'm still trying to figure out a way to make the shipping costs tax deductible

Wait a second, I drove to meet you outside the Publican and handed you cash, so don't turn me into the enemy...

Cheapest way so far is to create a FedEx account, click, print and drop-off, I think you save 10% and it charges right to your card...
