Right now fresh from bottling last week we have Peace Tree Cornucopia. Made with Iowa sweet corn. Anything that you can't find that's more localized to the midwest? U get Boulevard down there? I can be on the lookout for anything.

Ugh, that sounds awful. Don't know Boulevard, they have any good ****? I don't get much down here, and what I do get, is fairly limited to the big general releases.

Also, I now have more MZ's to hand out, since someone who will not be mentioned, apparently does not want them.

I will store bottles for you on the west coast :)

HAHAHA!! Well if you like corn at all, you'd love Iowa sweet corn. So much better than any other corn you may have had. It's actually very tasty stuff, I could send you a couple just to try, if you don't like it then so be it.

Boulevard does have some good stuff too. They make some in their Smokestack Series in 4 packs, and also 750ml bottles. I really enjoyed the Seeyoulator doppelbock, but they aren't making that anymore. I love the Tank 7. Hell, the only thing that I didn't care for much was their Saison-Brett. To me it was super perfume in the mouth and nose. The beer gets great reviews on BA though. Got 2 in the basement aging, hoping they will mellow out.

Went to Snowshoe Brewery in some podunk town in Arnold, CA. The porter's pretty tasty.

Otherwise, white trash. And that's the kindest terminology. If you can stomach them, go for it.

Ok, so it's pumpkin and Oktoberfest seasonal beer time. There are more releases this year than I know what to do with so I was wondering if we could post up a list and some reviews to whittle down the choices. I've already tried:

Weyerbacker
Shipyard
Smuttynose
and Sam Adams

Only the Shipyard was worth drinking. Anything else in the above category worth trying/seeking out?

I thought out of the Bells, Millstream, and Summit for Octoberfest, The Summit was the best. I'm actually fairly unimpressed with most Octoberfest's this year, but that's just due to the fact that I've drank a lot of great beer this year.

Mmm...Revolution Brewery's Barrel Aged Institutionalized Barleywine, I'd brush my teeth with this sticky sweet goodness!

A blend of the same base beer that spent 9 months in Heaven Hill and Jack Daniels barrels, your mom wants you to come to Chicago and try this nectar of the bourbon barrel gods...:nodding:
