Unless they didn't get any, in which case this years version was awful.

Apparently been sitting in some warehouse in Albany for awhile. Prolly not even temperature controlled

I feel like that's the biggest reason why draft tastes better. Lack of temperature control in transit

That happened here with Founders stuff to an absurd degree. The distributor refused to release beers until the previous stock was totally turned over, so it took almost a year to even get Porter at all, and they kept Reds Rye out for like 6 months. Then they wonder why nobody is buying the beer when they're trying to sell 6 month old IPAs.

No the power went out at their brewery when they were trying to cool the wort....they had to dump the batch and borrow hops. It wasnt the same hop profile as last year at all. So it wasnt so much my pallet changing as actual fact this beer had a different make up this year.

but i get where your coming from.

Pretty sure that the BA Biscotti you non-MN residents are talking about is dissimilar to the one Mr. Grant was talking about.

Oh I know it is but it made me think of the biscotti break I have. I still have regular biscotti from last year I need to try.

I've seen imperial biscotti break before but I'm not a fan of viscous stouts (although I really loved the bcbs variants this year). Worth a pick up?

Best Bruery beer I've had in a while!

English-style Barleywine aged in bourbon barrels and on coffee.
